In Loving Memory of Carolyn Sue Brobst
Carolyn Sue Brobst, 78, of Hurst, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026, in North Richland Hills, Texas. She was born on February 8, 1948, in Fort Worth, Texas, and lived a life centered on faith, family, and love.
Carolyn was a devoted Christian whose relationship with God guided her throughout her life. She loved attending church and was actively involved in church events and activities whenever possible. Her faith was not only important to her—it was the foundation upon which she built her life. She found joy in worship, fellowship, and sharing God's love with those around her.
More than anything, Carolyn treasured her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. Nothing brought her greater happiness than talking about her grandchildren. She took immense pride in their accomplishments, celebrated their milestones, and cherished every opportunity to spend time with them. Her family was the center of her world, and her love for them was unwavering.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Brobst, whom she loved dearly and whose memory she carried in her heart every day.
She is survived by her children: Dwayne Brobst; Michael Brobst and his wife, Kelli Brobst; Steven Brobst and his wife, Becky Brobst; and Kimberly Young and her husband, Jimmy Young.
She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Kristina Tester, John Brobst, Cody Bridges, Eric Brobst, Jewell Brobst, Samantha Benavides, Bradley Deauman, Austin Young as well as 6 great-grandchildren. Each of them held a special place in her heart and will forever carry her love and legacy with them.
Carolyn will be remembered for her gentle spirit, steadfast faith, caring heart, and deep devotion to her family. She had a way of making people feel welcomed, loved, and valued. Her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her, and her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Though her family mourns her passing, they take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her beloved husband and resting in the presence of the Lord she faithfully served throughout her life.
Carolyn's legacy of faith, love, and family will live on through her children, grandchildren, and all whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
