Obituary

Christopher Emanuel Portales

December 25, 1990 - May 21, 2026

Born on December 25, 1990, to Julie and Eliseo Portales, Christopher Emanuel Portales was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, whose life could easily be marked by kindness and a heart of service. He passed away in his family's loving home on May 21, 2026, at the age of 35.

Christopher graduated from Haltom High School and pursued continued education through Tarrant County College, where he earned accreditation while working toward an associate's degree. He also held certifications in warehouse operations, including industrial powered forklift trucks, along with training in logistics and warehouse safety.

Christopher spent his working years in RV transportation and logistics, warehouse operations, industrial logistics, coordination, and managerial roles. He was deeply respected for his strong work ethic, reliability, and the kindness he showed to everyone he worked with.

Affectionately known as "bombonsito" Christopher was warm, humble, gentle and easy to love. He had no enemies-everybody loved Chris. He was always willing to help wherever there was need, often assisting others with moving tasks using his truck with its famously dark tinted windows.

Faith and family were central in Christopher's life. He especially valued Sunday gatherings after church services with family. He especially took great pride in being a loving "Tio Chris" to his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his parents, Julie and Eliseo Portales; his brothers, Josh Portales (Sarah), Jeremy Portales, Nathan Portales; his twin sister, Christine Villalobos (Israel Villalobos); his nephews, Israel Christopher Villalobos, Nolan Simon Portales, and Troy Joshua Portales; and his nieces, Melody Ann Villalobos, Adelina Rose Villalobos, and Grace Anne Portales.

Christopher will always be remembered for his gentle spirit, servant's heart, and unwavering love for his family. His life reflected humility, faith, and kindness, and his memory will continue to live on in all who knew him.
