Gloria Ann Morin Machuca was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. She went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Sunday, June 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving husband and friends.
Gloria was born on October 25,1951 to the late Juan Perez Morin and Maria (Moreno) Morin in Belton, Texas. She graduated from Belton High School in 1970 where she proudly served as a member of the Pep Squad cheering on "her" beloved Red and White Tigers. She was also a lifelong and devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Gloria dedicated more than 30 years of service to Radio Shack as a Customer Service Agent, where she was loved and cherished by her coworkers, who became like family.
Number nine of twelve children Gloria never met a stranger. She was vibrant, passionate, and known for wearing a colorful attire that reflected her spirit. She was gregarious, fun loving and a devoted Christian who was always ready to share the love of Jesus with everyone she met. For sixty years Gloria was as a member of Primera Baptist Church where she joyfully and faithfully served in various capacities. She was a Vacation Bible School leader, a member of the choir and praise team, and a member of the financial office's collection counting team. Gloria was a passionate prayer warrior who faithfully lifted others up in prayer in every circumstance. Even after becoming homebound, she continued to worship the Lord through the Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. She remained steadfast in praying for her church, her family, and that others would come to know Jesus as Saviour.
On a Spring Wednesday evening in 1993 she met, "the love of my life whom God sent", Carlos Machuca. They were united in marriage on March 26, 1994, and shared a beautiful life together filled with faith and love.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan Perez Morin and Maria Moreno Coronado, her son Robert Jason Hill, her brothers Calixto Morin, Salomon Morin, and Juan Francisco Morin, her sisters Esther Morin and Josephine (Esteban) Espinoza.
Gloria is survived by her beloved husband Carlos Machuca, her brothers, David Morin, Sam (Josie) Morin and James (Cindy) Morin and her sisters Rachel (Morin) Escamilla, Martha (Isaias) Canava, Ruth (Iuveni) Gutierrez,
extensive nieces and nephews, extended family members, and treasured friends.
A memorial service will be held at Roberts-Martinez Funeral Home, 4200 Denton Hwy., Halton City, TX 76117 at 6:00 pm on Friday, June 19 with Pastor Rafael Berlanga officiating.
