Con profundo pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de José Manuel Cáceres Rivera, quien partió a la presencia del Señor el 25 de junio de 2026, a la edad de 87 años. Residente de Fort Worth, Texas, José se encontró con Jesucristo, su Salvador, el día de su partida.

José nació el 22 de abril de 1939 en Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. Fue el hijo mayor de siete hermanos, nacido de Ana María Rivera y Narciso Cáceres.

Fue un padre amoroso de cuatro hijos, un orgulloso abuelo de once nietos, treinta y un bisnietos y siete tataranietos.

Sirvió con honor en las Fuerzas Armadas durante 16 años. Posteriormente, vivió en Florida, donde dirigió varios equipos de béisbol durante 11 años, dejando una huella positiva en la vida de muchos jóvenes y sus familias.

Más adelante se estableció en Texas, donde hace cinco años contrajo matrimonio con la Sra. Nally Beatriz Mutillo García, con quien compartió esta etapa de su vida.

Con cariño era conocido por familiares y amigos como "Chey el Veterano". Será recordado por su dedicación a su familia, su servicio a su país, su amor por el béisbol y su firme fe en Dios.

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of José Manuel Cáceres Rivera, who entered into the presence of the Lord on June 25, 2026, at the age of 87.

A resident of Fort Worth, Texas, José met Jesus Christ, his Savior, on the day of his passing. José was born on April 22, 1939, in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. He was the eldest of seven siblings and the son of Ana María Rivera and Narciso Cáceres.

He was a devoted father of four children, a proud grandfather of eleven grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

José served honorably in the Armed Forces for 16 years. He later lived in Florida, where he managed several baseball teams for 11 years, positively impacting the lives of many young athletes and their families.

He later made his home in Texas, where, five years ago, he married Mrs. Nally Beatriz Mutillo García, with whom he shared this chapter of his life.

Lovingly known by family and friends as "Chey the Veteran," José will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his faithful service to his country, his love of baseball, and his unwavering faith in God.

His legacy will live on forever in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
