Obituary

With hearts forever changed, we announce the passing of our precious son, Kayden Wade Eddy, lovingly known as Kadey Wadey and K-Dub. Though his time on Earth lasted only 50 beautiful days, the love he gave and the lives he touched will last a lifetime.

Kayden was prayed for long before he was ever placed in our arms. He was our answered prayer, our miracle, and the missing piece our family had been waiting for. From the moment we learned he was coming, he brought hope, excitement, and more love than we ever imagined possible. Every kick, every ultrasound, every late-night dream of meeting him reminded us that God had entrusted us with something incredibly special.

To his mommy and daddy, Kayden was pure joy. He had the sweetest face, tiny hands that fit perfectly our fingers, and a peaceful presence that made the world slow down around us. Every cuddle, every sleepy stretch, every little coo became a treasured memory we'll carry with us forever.

Kayden was adored by his big brother, Cameron, our Cam Jam. Cameron couldn't wait to be a big brother. He loved talking tKayden, loving on him, and proudly telling everyone about "his baby brother Kayden Wade." Though their time together was far too short, the bond they shared is one that death can never take awayKayden will always be Cameron's little brother, and Cameron will always carry a piece of him in his heart.

Kayden was preceded in death by his great-grandmother and name-sake, Sandra Kay Creech.

He leaves behind his loving parents, Breanna Jurie Eddy and Timothy James Eddy; his devoted big brother, Cameron James Eddy; his grandparents, Colleen EddyWindle F. Eddy Jr. Kevin Boudreaux and Linda Hevelone; his step-grandfather, Alan Lytle; his great-grandparents, Duncan McLean, Carol Eddy and Windle Franklin Eddy; his aunts and uncles, Audrey Eddy, Windle Dean Eddy, Brandon Wade Coleman Jr. and Amanda Coleman; his cousins, Kennedy Coleman, Carson Wade Colema, Laine Eddy and Landry Eddy; and many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Although we will never understand why God called our little astronaut home so soon, we find comfort knowing that he is now exploring Heaven, wrapped safely in the arms of Jesus. His mission on Earth was brief, but his purpose was immeasurableKayden taught us that love is not measured by the number of days we have together, but by the depth of the love we share.

Though our arms ache from missing him, our hearts are forever grateful for the privilege of being his family. Kayden will always be our baby boy, our little astronaut, our greatest blessing, and the brightest star in our sky.

"For this child we prayed, and the Lord has granted us what we asked of Him." - 1 Samuel 1:27

Until we meet again, sweet boy.
We'll love you forever.
We'll like you for always.
As long as we're living,
our Kayden you'll be.
