Kim Townsend, a loving mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on July 6,2026, surrounded by her daughters and grandsons. She was born on December 13, 1956 in Atlanta, Georgia to Jack and Ann Knight. Kim was the oldest of three children. She enjoyed time with family, watching her shows and talking with friends. She loved to watch the birds and squirrels hang on the feeder out of her window and when you came to visit her you would always hear her announcing your arrival to everyone as you walked up the walk way. Kim shared 48 years of marriage with her husband, Robert, before his passing from cancer in 2023.

Kim is survived by her daughter's - Melisa Clark (James), Melinda Del Angel, her grandsons - Jacob Clark, Jonathan Clark, Luciano Del Angel, Adriano Del Angel, and many loving cousins and friends.

She is proceeded in death by Robert Townsend (husband) Jose Del Angel (son in law) Jack Knight (father) Ann Knight (mother) Laura Lee Knight (sister) Chuck Knight (brother) and many grandparents, aunts and uncles.
