It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of our beloved Margarita Lopez Garcia, who peacefully entered eternal rest on July 24, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Margarita was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She dedicated 40 years of service to ExxonMobil Corporation, working in accounting. She will always be remembered for her strength, resilience, and unwavering love for her family. As the second eldest of six siblings, she took her role very seriously, always looking out for her brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews with immense care. She loved taking her nieces and nephews on vacations, creating memories that they will cherish forever.
Margarita brought joy to life through her many passions. She was a passionate sports fan who loudly cheered for her Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys. Known affectionately within her family as both a foodie and a "critic," she took great delight in celebrating every birthday and milestone together. She also loved to travel, go shopping, and tune into QVC.
Margarita leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory and honor her legacy. While words cannot express how deeply she will be missed, her spirit remains with us always-in every cherished memory, every act of kindness, and every moment of love we shared.
Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing she is now at peace, reunited in the loving arms of our Lord.
Margarita is survived by her siblings, Rosemarie Ivy, and brother-in-law, Steven Ivy, Alvino Garcia, Emilio Garcia Jr., and sister-in-law, Pat Garza and Benito Garcia.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Emilio Garcia and Eulalia Garcia, and her sister, Roberta Guerrero.
