Avelina Ortega went to be with the Lord on February 26, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on February 12, 1997, to her mother, Aurora Ortega.

In her spare time, Avelina loved spending time outdoors and being around animals. One of her yearly traditions was to go to the zoo and reuniting with all the animals. Every stray cat she saw she would try to keep but she was not the best at catching them. One of her favorite things to do was to go to concerts, the bands didn't even need to be her favorite, she just enjoyed the atmosphere. However, her two favorite music groups were The Jonas Brothers and Taylor Swift. Avelina also enjoyed watching soap operas, if a show had some drama and romance, she was hooked until the end. She also enjoyed staying up late at nights spending time with friends and family catching up on the local drama and stories.

Avelina was one of the kindest and most loving people you could have ever met, and she will be deeply missed.

En su tiempo libre Avelina amaba pasar tiempo fuera de casa y estar rodeada de animales. Una de sus tradiciones anuales era ir al zoológico y reunirse con todos los animales. Cada que veía un gato callejero solía querer quedárselo, pero no era la mejor para atraparlos. Una de sus cosas favoritas era ir a conciertos, aunque no fueran sus bandas favoritas a ella solo le gustaba disfrutar de la atmosfera. Sin embargo, sus grupos favoritos eran The Jonas Brothers y Taylor Swift. Avelina solía amar ver programas de televisión y si eran de drama o romance se quedaba enganchada hasta el final. También disfrutaba desvelarse pasando tiempo con sus amigos y familiares hablando sobre el drama e historias locales. Avelina fue una persona amable y amorosa que será eternamente extrañada.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, begging at 2:00 PM at Roberts-Martinez Funeral Home Chapel. 

Un servicio memorial se llevara a cabo el sabado 11 de Marzo a las 2:00 PM.
