Erik Galvan 

1985 - 2023

Erik Galvan passed away on April 13, 2023, at his home in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 37.  He was born on August 1, 1985, in Fort Worth, Texas to his mother, Pauline Escobedo.

As a young teenager, Erik was diagnosed with schizophrenia, but never showed signs of causing injury to himself or others.  Instead, he had a very kind and gentle demeanor. Erik was quiet; he never bothered anyone.  He loved to dance, listen to music, and walk everyday.  Most people knew who he was and would offer him a ride or a few dollars when they saw him.

Erik's kind heart and sweet personality will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him but will never be forgotten.

He was preceded in passing by his mother, Pauline Escobedo, and his nephew, Jacob Escobedo.

Erik will be deeply and lovingly missed by his brothers, Leandro Escobedo and wife, Lilia, Rudy Escobedo, Eddie Escobedo and Mike JaQuet and wife, Annick; sisters, Julie Venegas, Veronica Santillares, Maria JaQuet, Mara Velica and Candy Brock; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Roberts-Martinez Funeral Home. 

The Funeral Service will be held at Roberts-Martinez Funeral Home on Thursday, April 20, 2023, beginning at 10:00 AM followed by interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
