Federico Constantino Henkel went to be with the Lord, Jesus Christ, on January 23, 2023. He passed away peacefully lying beside the love of his life, his wife, Gaby. Fede was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on August 30, 1972. He is survived by his beloved parents, Dieter and Betty, and his beautiful children, Alex and Elizabeth.

Fede was very passionate about his family and friends, and he was very loving towards them. He was an honorable, hardworking and trustworthy man. Above all, of his many personal and professional talents, the ones that his family, friends and coworkers will always treasure are his contagious positive attitude, his energy and enthusiasm, and his determination to have the tasks done. Fede will undoubtedly stay in our hearts forever.

Federico started his professional career at a Caterpillar dealership, Macrosa del Plata, in Argentina in 1994 and joined Caterpillar in 1999. He loved working for CAT and gave his best to the company until the very end.

In his spare time, Fede loved spending time outdoors with his family. He loved water sports and enjoyed wakeboarding and kitesurfing the most. As his kids recall “Papa made the best asados and we always applauded the ribs and other meats he made on the grill. Papa was great at all sports, and he taught them to us. Papa also taught us valuable skills that are going to be insanely useful forever, such as table manners, how to be a great person with everyone and a lot more. Papa, we LOVE you.”

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 30, at Roberts-Martinez Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Donations may be made to the family directly.
