Jimmy Thomas Reason
1939 - 2023
Jimmy Thomas Reason, beloved husband, father, and friend, went to be with the Lord on March 13, 2023. He was born on May 19, 1939 in Alvord, TX to Andrew Reason and Mattie Brownlee. Jimmy loved being outdoors. He had a green thumb and spent countless hours gardening and planting flowers. Jimmy never ceased to lend a helping hand; he even went to as far as teaching the cattle truck drivers how to back their trucks into a row for their own convenience while working at the Stock Show. Jimmy was respected and greatly loved by all who were lucky enough to know him.
He has been reunited with his parents, and his son, Tony Reason, in God's Eternal Kingdom.
Jimmy will be deeply and lovingly missed by his wife, Mattie Bess; sons, Jimmy J. and H.B.; daughter, Linda; sister, Mae; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceded in death by Andrew Reason father, Mattie Elnora Brownlee his mother, Tony Reason his son. He is survived by his loving wife Mattie Bess, son Jimmy J., and son H.B., and daughter Linda. Also, his sister Mae with many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Mount Olivet Cemetery beginning at 2:00 PM.
